Storage: This item comes frozen in a sealed sous-vide plastic bag. It can also be stored or defrosted in the refrigerator for up to 7 days before consumption. Never re-freeze defrosted items.

 

5 Easy Steps for Preparation & Cooking: 

1. Defrost overnight in fridge, or by placing sealed bag in hot water for 1 hour

2. Remove from bag, season with salt and pepper 

3. Prepare a sauce: finely dice 1 small onion, 1 carrot, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 celery stick, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil and place into a large pot on medium heat. Once these are browned, add 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of dry white wine and simmer for 5-10 minutes.

4. Braise the Ossobuco shanks in this sauce for 10-15 minutes. While you're waiting prepare a mashed potato or your favourite pasta/polenta.

5. Plate and serve!
